American Glass Experts Inc. started in the San Fernando Valley with a simple principle: do the job right, price it fairly, and earn the next call. Over two decades later, the majority of our work comes from repeat customers and referrals — homeowners who called us for a shower enclosure and came back for their storefront, their neighbor's window, and their office partitions.
We fabricate and install glass for residential and commercial properties throughout Southern California — shower enclosures, window glass, commercial storefronts, custom mirrors, glass partitions, and emergency board-up. Every job is measured on-site, every piece is fabricated to spec, and every installation is done by our own licensed crew — not subcontractors.

What Does a C-17 License Mean for You?
California requires a separate specialty license for glazing work — a general contractor's license alone doesn't cover it. A C-17 licensed contractor has passed a state exam specific to glass installation, carries the required bonds and insurance, and is subject to CSLB enforcement if work is substandard.
When you hire an unlicensed glass contractor, you have no CSLB recourse if work fails, and your homeowner's insurance may not cover damage resulting from work by an unlicensed contractor. Always verify the license number before hiring.
