Terms of Service

The terms that govern your use of our services and this website.

Last Updated: May 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website americanglassexperts.us and the glass repair and installation services provided by American Glass Experts Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a California corporation licensed as a C-17 Glazing Contractor (CSLB #1125850). By contacting us for a quote, scheduling a service appointment, or using this website, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

American Glass Experts Inc. provides residential and commercial glass repair and installation services throughout Southern California, including Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties and the Coachella Valley. Services include but are not limited to:

  • Frameless and semi-frameless shower enclosures
  • Window repair, replacement, and reglazing
  • Custom mirrors and mirror installation
  • Emergency glass board-up and replacement
  • Commercial storefront glass, entry systems, and glass partitions

All services are subject to availability, site conditions, and our ability to safely access the work area. We reserve the right to decline any project that we determine cannot be completed safely or to our quality standards.

2. Estimates and Quotes

All quotes and estimates provided — whether by phone, email, online form, or in person — are non-binding and subject to change based on field measurements, material costs, and site conditions discovered at time of service. A written estimate will be provided before any work begins. Your approval of the written estimate constitutes authorization to proceed.

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued, after which material pricing may have changed and a revised estimate may be required.

3. Scheduling and Access

You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work site at the scheduled appointment time. If access cannot be granted within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival window, we reserve the right to reschedule the appointment. A service fee may apply for missed appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance.

For commercial projects, you are responsible for ensuring any required building management approvals, permits, or access credentials are in place prior to our arrival.

4. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed to in writing. We accept cash, check, Zelle, and major credit cards. For large commercial projects, a deposit of up to 50% may be required prior to ordering materials, with the balance due upon project completion.

Invoices not paid within 30 days of completion are subject to a 1.5% monthly finance charge. In the event that collection action is necessary, you agree to pay all reasonable collection costs and attorney's fees incurred by American Glass Experts Inc.

5. Workmanship Warranty

We warrant our labor and installation workmanship for one (1) year from the date of service completion. This warranty covers defects in installation resulting directly from our work. It does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, accidents, impact, or acts of nature
  • Normal wear and tear or surface scratches
  • Damage caused by third-party modifications or improper cleaning products
  • Pre-existing conditions in the substrate or surrounding structure

Glass and hardware products are subject to the manufacturer's warranty, which we will assist you in pursuing if a defect is identified. To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period at info@americanglassexperts.us or (805) 750-6471.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, American Glass Experts Inc.'s total liability for any claim arising from services rendered or this website shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

We are not responsible for pre-existing structural defects, water damage, mold, or other conditions that may be discovered during the course of work. We will notify you of any such conditions and provide options for remediation.

7. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact us in good faith to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most concerns can be resolved quickly by calling (805) 750-6471 or emailing info@americanglassexperts.us.

8. Licensing and Insurance

American Glass Experts Inc. holds a valid California C-17 Glazing Contractor License (CSLB #1125850) and carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage as required by California law. License and insurance certificates are available upon request.
